Learn the craft.

A standing offer for a young person who wants to see how the work actually gets made: the photos, the websites, all of it. You'd spend time around a working studio, sit in on real jobs, and ask whatever you want. Free, and on no particular schedule.

Mostly you watch, sometimes you help, and either way you pick up things a video can't teach you.

We're five people who take pictures, build websites, and produce content for a living. Most of how that works you can't pick up from a video. So we keep a door open for a student who wants to learn it the way it's actually done, in the room, while it's happening.

It's not a class and it's not a job: no grade at the end, no paperwork at the start. You shadow whatever's on that week, a shoot or an edit or a site going from blank to live, and we explain it while it's in front of you. Ask anything.

Open to students, high school or college, in or near Springfield. If you're younger and serious about it, talk to us anyway. Bring a parent or guardian into it if that makes sense.

The real version.

A short list.

If most of these are true, send us a note. If you're not sure, send one anyway.

  • 01 A student, in or near Springfield.
  • 02 Curious about how things get made.
  • 03 Reliable. Shows up when they said they would.
  • 04 Fine asking questions, and fine staying out of the way when it's the moment to.

Email hello@blowerscreative.com and tell us who you are. What you're curious about, roughly how old you are, when you're around. A few sentences is plenty. If a parent or guardian needs to be in the loop, that's expected.
